Anyone else experiencing instability when accessing last.fm though mpd

Recently, accessing last.fm causes mpd to stop responding.  The only debug info I can find in the log is simply:

Oct 20 22:08 : decoder_thread: curl failed: The requested URL returned error: 403 Forbidden

My last.fm account works and is configured properly in ~/.mpdconf
