I just switched from initscripts to systemd. All went well except for this shutdown issue.
It says (at the end of the output):
Disabling swaps.
Detaching loop devices.
Detaching DM devices.
[somenumberhere] System Halted. The number in front of System Halted varies, but I remember 38.something and 119.something. Is the part after the point important?
Here are two screen (sorry for the dim light - hope you can read well) of the shutdown process:
- superior part of the screen: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B6AOgf … nBJZW5EVWM
- central/last part: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B6AOgf … XRTSnhJVHc
After that message the keyboard does not work (I tried to switch tty) and it hangs there forever...
Thanks,
rubik
EDIT: Not sure what section to post this in. Sorry if this is not the right one!

Did you use halt or poweroff?

I used halt. Now I'll try with poweroff.

Halt shuts down the system. Poweroff shuts down the system and powers the machine off.

poweroff works great. I used halt because using initscripts it worked as well.
