Hi all
I recently switched to systemd on my Toshiba laptop Satellite L300D and I can no longer use the custom buttons like volume/play/forward/mute/...etc. Since it worked out of the box when I first installed Arch I didnt pay attention to which kernel module was being loaded during boot before.
$ lsmod | grep toshiba
toshiba_acpi 11347 0
sparse_keymap 2532 1 toshiba_acpi
wmi 7195 1 toshiba_acpi
rfkill 12568 4 cfg80211,toshiba_acpi,bluetooth
I noticed there is another module called "toshiba" but I am not able to load it, it complains that there is no such device.
$ modinfo toshiba
filename: /lib/modules/3.6.2-1-ARCH/kernel/drivers/char/toshiba.ko.gz
description: Toshiba laptop SMM driver
author: Jonathan Buzzard <jonathan@buzzard.org.uk>
license: GPL
depends:
intree: Y
vermagic: 3.6.2-1-ARCH SMP preempt mod_unload modversions 686
parm: fn:User specified Fn key detection port (int)
Any suggestions ? I'm assuming it was caused by systemd but I'm a newbie really so I have no idea...
Thanks
Pierre
