After switching to systemd I sometimes get warning/error messages while starting kde. I'm using kdm. After passwd confirmation kde is loaded and I get 2 warning:
Device notification: could not mount the following device: home
Device notification: could not mount the following device: root
obviously home and root are mounted by that time..
Also when this happens I realized that I get a error from Nepomuk
Nepomuk Semantic Desktop needs the Virtuoso RDF server to store its data. Installing the Virtuoso Soprano plugin is mandatory for using Nepomuk.
My gues is that these things are related to each other as they both happen or not, so fare I'd say randomly.
Any ideas?

I'm not sure the problems are related anymore.. No ideas though whats causing them..

How are you mounting them? Could you post your fstab?

It's very similar to mine... I can't think of anything wrong with it, unfortunately. Sorry.

Yes, I don't think it's fstab related, everything is mounted as supposed, just getting these error messages occasionally.. I don't even know where the "device" messages come from. It's a greyish window that pops up just after started kde form kdm and disappeares automaticly afterwards again..

The errors disappeared after I switched to e4rat init (in combination with systemd). So I guess it must have been something about things not have been loaded already in the bootprocess..
