Still can't install on physical machine.[SOLVED by not using EXT4]

I created a few VMWare virtual arch_64 machines to practice with first (with success) but when I tried to install to a Intel Atom 330 all-in-one board with wi-fi (my first post) or directly wired, certain files continue to have 'bad signatures' during the "pacstrap /mnt base base-devel" portion.

I have:
  1. Read the Beginner Guide about checking for UEFI and apparently it's not.
  2. Tried different mirrors followed with a 'pacman -Syy' and a 'pacman -Sc' in root and in /mnt after arch-chroot -ing there
  3. Tried all three partition managers (cfdisk, parted then lastly gdisk) with an 8G sda1, 1G sda2 & 232G sda3

I am booting from a USB drive since the image isn't read whether it's on a CD or DVD. First it was gcc and now it is 'gettext', 'linux' & 'tar' that fail during 'package integrity testing' whether I use the '-i' switch or not.

What should I do next?

Did you verify whether the checksum  of the ISO you downloaded is right?

I just tried a different torrent too (from this site instead of linuxtracker) and  'tar', 'binutils' & 'gcc' fail.

Re: Still can't install on physical machine.[SOLVED by not using EXT4]

I checked that my system clock was a within a couple minutes of localtime and the files began passing integrity testing but during install they weren't the right size. I remember reading that there may be a problem with EXT4 on a 3.5 kernel so I re-formatted with REISERFS and was able to install the system successfully. WHEW!
