gaim issue, couldnt find in search

sorry if this is in the wrong place, it is noobish, but i dont really understand the newbie section (as in what topics DO go there)

as soon as i connect to AOL IM using gaim 1.5.0, it kicks me off.
running gaim --debug i get this up until it kicks me off (it all looks normal to me, but tahts probably half of my problem)

my trusty pork im client conencts just fine and stays connected.
naim does not even connect -- which i find wierd, but since i hate naim -- i dont care.

EDIT:  i am not using a proxy
