Hey everybody,
I just switched to pure systemd but now after starting i have /sbin/init and systemd-journald both consuming 100% cpu.
journalctl says syslog-ng.service start request repeated too quickly.
can anybody help me with this?
Best Regards

deactivating syslog-ng helps. But why?

Now that syslog-ng isn't there, what does journalctl say?

what do you want to know, the whole journalctl -a output?

Maybe I misunderstood, you said deactivating syslog-ng helped, did it lessen the problem or fix it? If it fixed it, nevermind. If it just helped, what is still going on in journalctl?

OK, sorry, thanks for asking. The problem was *solved* by deactivating syslog-ng. Still don't know why though.

Check etc/syslog-ng/, see if there's a syslog-ng.conf.pacnew. syslog-ng.conf needs updated for systemd.

Thanks, it was because i changed syslog-ng.conf before I transitioned to systemd. Undid the change and everything works now.
change was to this section:
source src {
unix-dgram(*here*);
