Hello everyone, I got some problem about my X220 battery after I reinstall it.
I think this picture can show the problem I got......
when The battery left around 40%, after a few minutes, it well drop to 6%....
Is there any setting I forgot to use?

Umm... yes? It is your system... you tell us. For real power management info (not that non-informative line graph), try powertop.
Also, why are you still using 3.5.5-1?

still the same problem after update kernel Linux 3.6.2-1-ARCH x86_64...
I use powertop to see and get the same data, 50 --> 6%.....

powertop is a great tool for determining what events/processes/hardware are having the greatest draw on your system. There are also the parameters labeled good/bad which can be toggled, but don't survive after boot. But it would be a good idea to check these out and then do further research as to what those "bad" setting are and how to fix them.

I found this strange thing.....
Summary: 449.4 wakeups/second, 287.1 GPU ops/seconds, 0.0 VFS ops/sec and 10.9% CPU use
why wakeups/second and GPU ops/seocnds are this high..

Did you set any battery thresholds? In my case I got this probem when setting an upper battery charge limit using TLP.
Try removing this battery thresholds and see if the problem still exists.

My Thinkpad X200s is doing terribly at the moment. It used to be 5-6 watts on default kernel, now it's around 8-10 when I toggle everything in powertop. According to powertop the laptop fan is the major issue, which could be consistent with the bug report mentioned above.

Is there any progress on this? I just installed arch for the first time ( used debian before ) on my x200 and it's running at 14W-17W which is really high in my opinion. I don't even an hour and a half like this! I've read a lot and tried a lot of option but I can't manage to get the consumption down. I use tlp, I set the i915 R6 and frame buffer compresion kernel parameters, undervolted my cpu to vids 24 21 0 0,...

Some specific questions:
Is there a good way to make those powertop tunables stick after setting them?
The CPU supports state C6.. why isn't it in powertop? Is it used? This would make a big! difference if it's not.
Might just by in my head but I'm under the impression that right after the install the power consumption and CPU temp was better ( 9W-10W like ), now I hear the fan all of the time. Maybe I done something to make it worse? ( didn't have xcompmgr & such then ).
All help would be greatly appriciated.. my laptop is not really useable atm since it won't last more than 1 hour on a charge ( I know my battery is seriously worn but that's not the main issue. )

@dzan, you should probably start a new thread with that. Then maybe link back to this thread from there. If you are coming from debian, you have to keep in mind that you are moving to the current stable kernel from something very old. So with that, comes all of the bugs, power regressions, etc that have yet to be discovered. Also to make those tuneables stick, you have to figure out what it is you are actually toggling and then find a way to set those things on boot. I think udev rules are probably the recommended way to go. In any case, start a new thread and address the rest of your issues there.

I think the problem is slove now...
till the kernel from 3.6.2-1 --> 3.6.3-1 --> 3.6.4-1 --> 3.6.5-1
(20~30w) (same..) (16~30w) (10~20w)
newest kernel 3.6.5-1 gave me much better discharge rate now...
the thing i do this period:
switch to win7, use lenovo battery manager, and use "reset battery" function
(slove 40% drop to 6%)
change my arch from initscrpts to systemd.
(slove some rate problem, but still get high rate in IDLE time)
upgrade kernel.
(after 3.6.2, .3, .4, .5 --> 3.6.5-1 seem slove problem now, powertop trigger get Good)
hope this can help the people who have same problem

I am confused as to why you felt it necessary to include the part about the windows 7/lenovo power manager? Did that acheive something? Also, changing from systemd to initscripts would certainly not do anything if it has been determined that the kernel is the cause. Either way you are using the same kernel.
In any case, I am clad to hear your power woes have settled downa bit.
