[LXDE] No automount with udisks but udisks2 works fine. Why?

Hi
Recently i had problem with automounting with udisks and PCmanFM. Unfortunately most of solutions i've found didnt work. My dbus daemon is running, xinitrc entries are obsolete because lxde is not running from there and there is no need to install consolekit nowadays. Dmesg also shows that drives are regonizable for OS.

I can mount them manually. Finally Ive installed udisks2 and gvfs and this combo works fine with pcmanfm. But nevertheless pcmanfm depends on on libfm which depends on udisks so i just dont want to install additional software (udisks2) if I cant get rid of old one (udisks). Besides i wouldn't be a "courious newbie Arch user" if i wouldn't find why previous config didnt work big_smile .

Re: [LXDE] No automount with udisks but udisks2 works fine. Why?

1. The problem you linked is about doubling automounted devices. My problem is about no automounting at all.
2. Your problem is probably caused by coexisting udisks and udisks2. In my case, udisks2 works fine when its installed with udisk
3. I dont want to have two udisks so it seems to me that this rule wont do anything when i put it without udisks2.
