[Solved]Wireless mouse problems

Part XI in the 89c51s troubles with HW.

When i connect the mouse to one of the rear USB ports of my motherboard i get:

Oct 19 01:49:51 mainland kernel: usb 1-2: new full-speed USB device number 3 using xhci_hcd
Oct 19 01:49:51 mainland kernel: logitech-djreceiver 0003:046D:C52B.000D: hiddev0,hidraw2: USB HID v1.11 Device [Logitech USB Receiver] on usb-0000:00:14.0-2/input2
Oct 19 01:49:51 mainland kernel: logitech-djreceiver 0003:046D:C52B.000D: logi_dj_probe:logi_dj_recv_query_paired_devices error:-32
Oct 19 01:49:51 mainland kernel: logitech-djreceiver: probe of 0003:046D:C52B.000D failed with error -32
Oct 19 01:50:08 mainland kernel: usb 1-2: USB disconnect, device number 3

when i connect it to a USB 3 port and:

Oct 19 01:50:21 mainland kernel: usb 5-1.3: new full-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd
Oct 19 01:50:23 mainland kernel: logitech-djreceiver 0003:046D:C52B.0010: hiddev0,hidraw2: USB HID v1.11 Device [Logitech USB Receiver] on usb-0000:00:1a.0-1.3/input2
Oct 19 01:50:30 mainland kernel: input: Logitech Unifying Device. Wireless PID:101a as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1a.0/usb5/5-1/5-1.3/5-1.3:1.2/0003:046D:C52B.0010/input/input16
Oct 19 01:50:30 mainland kernel: logitech-djdevice 0003:046D:C52B.0011: input,hidraw3: USB HID v1.11 Mouse [Logitech Unifying Device. Wireless PID:101a] on usb-0000:00:1a.0-1.3:1
Oct 19 01:50:47 mainland kernel: usb 5-1.3: USB disconnect, device number 3

when i connect it to a USB 2 port but when i do that it moves extremely slowly making it unusable.

When i connect it to the front panel (USB 3) ports it works flawlessly.

I contacted someone at Logitech and said the problem is not related to them. The problem occurred on the last 3.5 and now in the 3.6 kernel. So before i start annoying kernel mailing lists is there something i can do about it or any additional info i can provide.

Re: [Solved]Wireless mouse problems

I am bumping this since the FW update on the motherboard -that could have been a problem- didn't solve it.

Which is the correct mailing list for a problem like that???

[SOLVED] problem related to my POS motherboard irq bug
