error recovering hard drive sometimes on boot

Hoi,

recently I get strange errors sometimes when I boot my Acer Aspire One. I replaced the 8GB HD with a 160gb HD from another Laptop and everything was fine for nearly 1/2 a year.
A screenshot is attached showing the error messages. I drop into root recovery console and with "e2fsck /dev/sda4" I can repair the damaged blocks, missing indices and so on.

Is this a sign that the HD goes bogus? Its nearly 6 Years old.

Screenshot

thanks in advance!

Re: error recovering hard drive sometimes on boot

1. No screenshot attached.
2. Check dmesg ouput for anything HD related.

Use smartmontools to see what SMART says.
