<Solved> rEFInd does not work after update

Hello.
Today, I updated rEFInd with yaourt.
After the update, I copied the new files in /boot/efi.
I rebooted and now rEFInd does not work.
The only message I got is:
rEFInd - Initializing
After 2-3 minutes, the computer reboots and I got the same error message.
To boot, I had to use the UEFI shell.
First of all, is there a log file for rEFInd?
It is not easy at all to debug it when we don't have any error messages.
After that, I did the procedure to install rEFInd in /boot/efi twice without any success.
Do you know what to do to solve my problem?
Thanks for your help.

Re: <Solved> rEFInd does not work after update

Exactly the same error here...

Update refind, copy the files, reboot and... nothing...

I've tried to reinstall and doesn't work at all...

It seems to be a problem from refind.

Can you guys try http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9710721/refindx64.efi . The menu entry titles will be right aligned, that should not be a problem.

rEFInd now works with this file.
What is the difference with the packaged file?

Re: <Solved> rEFInd does not work after update

You know that refind is in the repos now?  Is there a reason you are using the AUR version?  I see that the UAR version is "built with Tianocore UDK libs" and is the git version.  What is the difference?  (I guess what advantage would there be to having the version built with Tianocore UDK libs?)

Re: <Solved> rEFInd does not work after update

@antoyo: The old one is compiled using gnu-efi-libs, the new one is compiled using Tianocore UDK2010.

Full package: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9710721/refind- … pkg.tar.xz
Src package: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9710721/refind- … src.tar.gz (will compile only in x86_64 system)

Re: <Solved> rEFInd does not work after update

I don't use refind from AUR, I am using refind from extra/.

Edit: Will extra/ be updated with this new version?
Thanks for your help.

It works with gummiboot.

(can't wait for an updated package of refind... hmm)
