Ignore Orphans Yaourt?

I had a program that was really buggy so i reverted back to the older version in the aur that doesn't have those bugs.  Now yaourt lists it as an orphan.  Is there a way not to have it listed as an orphan with every yaourt -Syua?

Re: Ignore Orphans Yaourt?

Orphan means that it doesn't have a maintainer. If you're willing to maintain it, then adopt it, and it'll no longer be an orphan.

There is an option about orphans in yaourtrc, but, from it's description, I don't think it's relevant.

oh this is version 2 of a program that has moved on to version 3.  there is absolutely nothing to maintain.   it has reached it's end of live in version 2 and version 3 is maintained already.    somebody was just nice enough to upload the pkgbuild for the last version after it got dropped from the official repos
