can't mount external as non-root

Can't mount external disk as non-root user any more, any ideas.

using KDE and system is up to date.

Thanks. I have been reading , I think it might have something to do with systemd but I'm not to sure
Would appreciate any help I can get even if not it's not a direct answer even a link pointing me in the right direct would be helpful

After more research it look like it is systemd/logind issue. I just upgraded to grub2 and everything boots fine, so now I trying to make sure systemd is in use

Okay?  You think it is a logind issue.  But do you actually use something that should enable you to mount via pam?

Ok got it solved. After adding systemd to grub My mount rights are back. One more question, do you recommend add systemd to the fallback image in grub as well.

Honestly, I am still not entirely sure what your original issue was...

But if you plan on using systemd from now on, just install systemd-sysvcompat and then remove the init= line from your bootloader.  See the systemd wiki page.
