i install arch today and set my wireless network as the handbook say . but the wifi could only be use in installation environmet. i have checked iwconfig but everything seems well:
IEEE 802.11bgn ESSID:"TP-LINK"
Mode:Managed Freequency:2.427Ghz Access Point:74:EA:3A...
Bit Rate=150mb/s Tx-Power=20dbm
but when i ping an add, it shows that "unknown hoat". whats the matter with that

Do you have an ip address? It would probably help if you provided more information. It is hard to tell you what your problem is if there is no information to determine as much.

i guess ip exists, for i run "dhcpcd wlan0" it sbows that dhcp is running. as i can't use X yet, i could only input these imformations by my cellphone. i will provide more imformations later ,thanks.

Have you tried to simply use netcfg? More specifically, use wifi-menu?

i use the wifi-menu, it also shows that the connection eatablished ,but when i ping a address, it just remind me unknown host.

See this is what is meant by more information is needed. It really sucks to try to help someone who is witholding information. I am sorry you have to type on a phone or whatever, but until you learn how to describe your problem in an effective way, you're on your own as far as I'm concerned.
