Hi,
I have an installation of arch linux 3.0 kernel. My kernel is not booting after i done some glibc installation(upgrade)..So now i burned a new disc with kernel 3.6.4-1. When cd is booting it's showing install 86_64 , 686, existing OS etc. My problem is when select first(SINCE I WANT A FRESH INSTALLATION) one x86_64 it is loading something(dbus, new kernel),
Then it is going to terminal which it mounted arch linux 3.6.4-1.
But it's not installed 3.6.4-1
Normally for usual installation some UI will come..But WITHOUT UI, simply going to terminal(Acting like live cd)
So what i need to do for installing x86_64?
Can somebody guide me for installing x86_64?
Regards,
varghese
