Eclipse CDT help...

Hey all,

Back into the linux game for the first time in a very long while. I've been trying to set up eclipse as my IDE of choice for C++ development but am having a very annoying problem. If I create a new empty project, create my src folder and add a source file... I keep getting symbol errors until the restart the IDE. This doesn't happen if I create a hello world application from the new project menu, I'm at a loss. Haven't really tried to see what all gives me errors aside from anything needing std::

Any ideas guys?
