pholie - yeah - I have seen the same I think.  I disabled pre-empt on the advice of con via iphitus but I think it's bollocks i get serious lag now that pre-empt is disabled.  I think this is a case of "Oh, you don't need that anymore - mine is much better!"  but it's not I think....

Other opinions?

I don't know what the reason is (I could blame this??) but I switched from archck back to stock with the latest release because archck was slowing down on GUI things and making my music skip.

So, yeah, next release we'll try voluntary pre-emption - I'll make a release before 2.6.14 to prevent confounding.

I will probbaly not make a community release of 2.6.14 until archck2 - they alway start a bit wobbly and these days it usually takes less than a week before x.1 comes out smile
