Appindicator banshee extension

Hi, Im totally new to arch so please go easy on me, ive installed cinnamon and banshee, I got banshee to integrate with cinnamons sound applet by installing the Mpris extension for banshee but annoyingly ive got two music symbols in the system panel, I cant remove the banshee notification area extension because then the music stops when i close the main window for banshee, I think i need the appindicator extension installed instead but cant figure out how to do it. Does anyone have any tips?

Hello,

Probably a bit late, but I disabled the notification area extension in banshee "Extensions" menu and it worked fine, if that's what you needed. BTW, I too use Cinnamon and I din't know that Mpris extension did the trick for the Cinnamon sound applet, so thanks for that

Bump, I just installed cinnamon and banshee and cinnamon won't recognize banshee is running, it doesn't appear in the sound applet and the keyboard multimedia keys don't work. Did you find a solution yet?
