GPS navigation with Haicom HI204e

I have a Haicom HI204e GPS receiver. I would like to use this on my Arch laptop. I'm new to this, so where do I start?
What do I need to get this working in linux? Where do I find maps over Scandinavia?

There is a lot of gps software in the [gis] repo - follow the link in my sig to AEGIS and you can get all the info about the project

Re: GPS navigation with Haicom HI204e

Thanks.

But how do I find out where the GPS is connected. It uses a serial to usb adapter, and connects to the computer by usb.

EDIT: It seems lik it's using /dev/tts/USB0

I have tryed GpsDrive, but it can't get a fix. I only get no valid position

I guess I need the correct module to get it to work. What is the correct module?
