SystemD Upgrade

Hi,

I am in the process of migrating to systemd however I am really struggling.

When trying to start a service I don't seem to be getting an error message that I don't know how to action. I think it comes down to not getting the D-Bus system to start working.

For instance I try this command:- sudo systemctl start dhcpcd@eth0
I receive this message:- Failed to get D-Bus connection: No connection to service manager

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Re: SystemD Upgrade

Did you boot with systemd? If not, reboot and try again.

Re: SystemD Upgrade

You have posted in the installation subforum, new installations will use systemd by default, so there is no need to migrate to systemd.
