I thought that Kaffe was an implementation of Java separate from Sun's JRE?

Jikes is a Java compiler. So, surely it's a makedepend.

[proteus@localhost ~]$ sudo pacman -S kaffe
Targets: gmp-4.1.4-3 j2re-1.5.0_04-1 jikes-1.22-1 kaffe-1.1.6-1
Total Package Size: 37.8 MB
I also notice that Kaffe does not provide Java.
Offline
Jikes is a native C binary that compiles .java files into .class files, which requires a working java library. This java library can either be kaffe, gcc-gcj or j2re.

So Kaffe depends on Jikes, which depends on a Java library? And the kaffe package doesn't provide j2re?
These dependencies/provides need to be cleaned up!

Uhh... is there something I'm missing here?
