LiveCD freezes under boot when using x86_64 [solved]

I just grabbed a AMD A6-5400K and a Gigabyte F2A85XM-D3H (which used a AMD A85X chipset), grabbed the lasted livecd slapped it on a usb stick and started to install.

In x86_64 mode , It freezes after decompressing the kernel though, the last thing i see before it freezes up is

Booting the kernel.

When using x86, the boot process finishes as it should. Any idea what I could do to fix this? Id rather not boot in x86 mode, since I have 8gb in the box.

Also, is there any parameters i can add to the kernel at boot to enable debug?

I don't know, It could be your cd was wrong burned. you could try to burn it again.

It could be an incompatible kernel option or something,  try to boot using an older x86_64 media.
You could have bad ram, try checking with memtest (weird thing is it works on i686)

"open source is about choice"
No.
Open source is about opening the source code complying with this conditions, period. The ability to choose among several packages is just a nice side effect.

Using a older LiveCD solved this. Apparently, 201211 doesn't like the above chipset+processor combination. 201210 was happy with it though ")
