engage

I installed engage-cvs from the arch repo. But how do I configure it? Is it possible to have it on top of the screen instead of at the bottom? How do I add icons to it? How do I make it cover all the screens width? Hope someone knows...
And also, are there any engage in the e16 series?

Re: engage

well at the moment (engage will be fully rewritten if i am correct) engage can only be at the bottom of the screen.
To change/add icons go to ~/.e/e/applications
then create a dir engage, in this dir create a .order file (just the same like bar or favourite uses.)
As far is i know there isn't anyway to let it fill your whole screen

Re: engage

you can use this command to it (if you use standalone version, which I belive you do)

engage -s 48 -A true -G false -g false -m 1 -e gl -H 300 -W 1600  &

the important options are: -s (size) 48 pixels on the icons, and -H (height) and -W (width)

Re: engage

as for your question about engage in the e16-series, the answer is, use the standalone version big_smile

otherwise, there are karamba, or other docks you may use...although, they take more computer power than engage..
