Arch Linux free ebook?

Hi,

I am a newbie to Arch and I wanted to see if there is a free book (in PDF format) that can serve as a comprehensive reference to Arch. Does such a thing exist?

Arch vs Ubuntu; User friendly or user centric?

No, but we have a vast amount of wiki pages which should be more than sufficient for anyone.

No, as far as I know. Just the wiki, the tutorials and the best and prepared community I ever seen.

Packages arch-wiki-lite and arch-wiki-docs might be the things you look for if you need offline documentation.

Arch moves fast and thus the book gets outdated pretty fast.

That's the thing, I recall there was a semi-official book once covering the installation of arch. Since then, the "Installer" is gone, GRUB is now version 2, systemd is near standard on arch, meaning that about 70% of that book is now outdated. It was nice at its time, but a newbie won't be able to install a base system with it now.

I just do not understand why anyone would use anything other than the wiki (and the forum) as a reference.

Preference and choice?
