[Duplicated] short battery life

hi all,
I just did a fresh install several days ago and found that the new system has a very high battery consumption. high enough to use up my 2 batteries in less than 2 hours.
first of all, I've installed all the power saving settings following arch wiki, TLP installed, as well as bumblebee. mine is a T420s by the way. It seems to me that both TLP and bumblebee are working fine because almost everything in powertop says "Good"

if running on battery, the several "Bad" become to "Good" as well.
from bbswitch, I know that the dedicated card is turned off, too

I also checked the CPU frequency and unfortunately all 4 cores seems to be running at 800MHz, which is supposed to be a good news.

now the weird part is, if I restart the laptop several times, maybe it'll go back to normal. which I can tell from the temperature (65 degree to 45 degree), as well as powertop (25w to 10w).
I'm still unfamiliar with Linux, so anyone has any idea what is burning my laptop?

There's a bug in the kernel that's been messing with intel chips (usually thinkpad owners). Supposedly there is a fix coming in the 3.8 kernel.

Oh, I saw that thread before, I thought it was 2 different issues because before this installation, I only got problem after suspend. A fresh restart always solves the problem for me.
But now I got this problem 80% of the time even when I restart my system. Got to pray every time before I restart my laptop sad
Anyway, I went through most posts in the thread you mentioned, as well as the bug report, and now I believe they are the same issue.
I'll mark this thread as duplicated. Thanks a lot.
