grub background is found but not showing

This is my grub.cfg:

When I reboot, I can see the colors in menu, but not the image:

1.- Yes, the png exists
2.- image file is 1024X768, same as GRUB_GFXMODE
3.- I try commenting and uncommenting the lines GRUB_COLOR_HIGHLIGHT and GRUB_COLOR_NORMAL, and still not showing the background

any ideas, please?

The file you have posted is /etc/default/grub. Post your /boot/grub/grub.cfg .

Did you try saving the image file somewhere on your boot partition?
