Hello. I'll be buying a new PC. One important aspect of the new configuration for me is the support for linux. The hardware that I think most linux folks have problem with is the graphics card. I want you to give me your opinion on Nvidia GTX 560 Ti. How well does it perform on linux and are there any significant problems that I may encounter should I decide to buy it?

I don't think you will have any problem if you use the nvidia driver. I have a gtx 560 and works as expected. Pretty much every nvidia card is well supported through the nvidia driver.

Just use the proprietary drivers and you won't have any problems/support issues.

Mind if I ask what games you use on Linux to see the capabilities of the GTX 560?

Oilrush is imho one of the most demanding Linux games.
As for the 560Ti: running one myself with the nvidia blob. Not encountered a problem so far -> go for it

I have one, it has had a couple of issues with the open-source (nouveau) drivers in the past year which prevented booting for several kernel releases. If you use the propriety blob, you'll probably be okay.
Plays TF2 on Linux flawlessly.
