Error loading operating system

I just installed Arch and something has apparently gone wrong. I get 'Error loading operating system' write after the BIOS screen. I figure it is a problem I have created with GRUB? Any help is much appreciated.

Re: Error loading operating system

Check if GRUB points to the correct partition. If everything seems fine, reinstall grub using the installation disc.

Also, confirm if you are using grub2 or grub-legacy and follow the instructions on the wiki accordingly.

Re: Error loading operating system

I believe this is a common error when the bootloader (eg grub) has not been installed to the MBR.  In addition to installing the package and configuring it, there is a step to copy the relevant parts to the MBR (unless this is GPT, but there are similar steps there too).

Re: Error loading operating system

Would help to know if you are booting in BIOS of EFI mode, too.
