Re: Installing a display manager for xfce.

This sort of question generally lands in TGN as it is subjective.  However there is some objective infor worth considering: do you need a display manager at all?

I don't know where it comes from, but it is a common misconception that a display manager is a necessary evil.  I generally find them to just be evil, and not necessary.

But to answer the informational part of your question, any display manager should be able to launch xfce just fine.

Hardly on topic: I have a bit of a gripe with xdm as it breaks the standard streams for any programs launched from xinitrc.
