Hi!
I read this and it seems nice to me..
Could something similar exist for archlinux if it not exists yet? It could be useful?

[...] they will share just the 'recipes' how to build them.
Don't you think ABS and AUR do just the same?

eheh yes sorry I mean auto-building the PKGBUILD on a server when it was committed so other users can download the package without the need to compile

I believe the devs have (had?) something like that to make the packages in the official repos.
In any case, the packages in the repos are already compiled for you, the PKGBUILDS in the AUR are unsupported. Feel free to set up your own auto-compilation server though.
EDIT: devtools might help you.
EDIT EDIT: Posted the wrong link, though you might find ^ that link useful too. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/De … ean_Chroot

Making lemonade from lemons since 2015.

Yeah, that's probably what I'm thinking of. Cheers Karol.

Wow thank you both!
Now it's clearer to me ..
So, if I understood, what is "missing" is a server for untrusted developers and some little logic that checks PKGBUILDs and builds AUR packages
Thank you for the links
