I have tried to install arch many times and have sadly failed many times, I got my closest now by using a guide in linux User but i have problem configuring the bootloader, i tried with Syslinux and when i boot it has an error and it just shows a _ forever and it doesnt make it to the os, so i am guessing i configured it incorecttly any tips , also i installed mint 14 but that didnt pick up my arch , any clues tips? thanks

I guess you've already seen the Beginners Guide in the wiki, but I suggest you read it again anyway, making sure you understand it all. There is also a syslinux wiki page.
We can't help you with mint here, they have their own forum.

Sounds to me like Syslinux was misconfigured. Try using UUIDs instead of kernel device names (i.e. that long string of numbers instead of "/dev/sdaX").
I have made a personal commitment not to reply in topics that start with a lowercase letter. Proper grammar and punctuation is a sign of respect, and if you do not show any, you will NOT receive any help (at least not from me).
