I just did a system update after a long absent and gnome is upgraded to 3.6. Now when I boot, it goes to my gnome3 auto login account. When I log out, I am presented with GDM's login screen. But when I click any of the user name, the password text box does not show up. The clicked name shows up for a while, then it bounces back to the username selection screen. Any ideas?
Cheers!

How long were you absent? Do you use systemd?

Happened to me too. I remembered seeing this somewhere else and it's about the locale setting.
Does someone know exactly what it is?

Absent for a month or so? GNOME upgraded from 3.4 to 3.6. Yes, using systemd was part of the update I did.
BTW, "Switch User" would also drop me to GDM user list, and clicking on userer would let me enter a password. But not if I "Log Off". The system is currently boot up to automatically log in, so I have not tried boot to GDM prompt.
