[SOLVED] unable to "insert coins" ( key 5 ) in sdlmame

I notice a "keyboard bug" with the sdlmame archlinux package ( arcade emulator ),

in sdlmame we must press the key "5" to do an "insert coins" for player 1,

but the key 5 ( and the other numeric keys ) doesn't work, I want to know if it's a bug in sdlmame or a bug in archlinux ? ( keyboard configuration, system libraries ? )

Use yaourt not pacman, it's in AUR repos @ https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xmame-sdl/

Re: [SOLVED] unable to "insert coins" ( key 5 ) in sdlmame

I found the solution,

the solution is to set the keymap option in the ini file configuration in ~/.mame :

#
# SDL KEYBOARD MAPPING
#
keymap 1
keymap_file /usr/share/sdlmame/keymaps/km-fr.txt
uimodekey SCRLOCK
