Hello. First post here. ![]()
I'm running Archbang 32bit (not that it matters) kernel 3.6.8.
I'm attempting to get my eyetoy to work. In any mainstream distro (Ubuntu, Fedora, Mint, etc) The eyetoy works fine out of the box.
I looked here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Webcam_Setup and noticed I need ov51x-jpeg.
I found the pkgbuild on AUR, but when attempting to use "makepkg -s", it gives me the following:
patching file ov51x-jpeg.h
patching file ov51x-jpeg-core.c
patching file ov51x-jpeg-core.c
patching file ov511-decomp.c
patching file ov518-decomp.c
patching file ov519-decomp.c
patching file ov51x-jpeg-core.c
patching file ov51x-jpeg.h
patching file ov511-decomp.c
patching file ov518-decomp.c
patching file ov519-decomp.c
patching file ov51x-jpeg-core.c
(Stripping trailing CRs from patch; use --binary to disable.)
patching file ov51x-jpeg-core.c
patching file ov51x-jpeg-core.c
patching file ov51x-jpeg-core.c
make: *** No targets. Stop.
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
Aborting...I've looked around the forums and other places, but haven't found a solution.
Any help would be appreciated greatly. Thank you. ![]()

I don't have the Sony EyeToy but i look around and found a thread in a german forum.
He solved his problem by reading this https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Webcam_Setup#Skype or https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/We … our_webcam .
Please try it with lib32-v4l-utils and don't use ov51x-jpeg.
Greetings
