Google Chrome can't open downloaded files

Hello.

I'm having a little problem with Google Chrome. Made package from AUR.

Everything is working fine, but I can't get chrome to open any files it downloads, I have to manually go to the downloaded file and open it.

I'm sure the answer is trivial, I just can't figure it out.
Anyone know?

Make sure you have installed xdg-utils and the optdepends needed by your particular set up.

I have xdg-utils and the optdepends for Google Chrome installed. Is there other optdepends that I need for my setup? I'm running pretty much just archbang with the proprietary nvidia drivers and thunar.

Hmm... To be on the safe side make sure you have installed perl-file-mimeinfo and xorg-xprop. Also, while logged out of your account, switch to a console screen, log in and delete these two files "~/.local/share/mimeapps.list" and "~/.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list". After this I'd recommend that you delete your browser's configuration "~/.config/google-chrome" (make sure you have a cloud backup to recover all your data later, or at least backup your bookmarks and ssl certificates before doing this ).

Thank you for the suggestions. Unfortunately, I have to get ready to go out, but when I get a chance I'll test it out and post back with results.
