Awesome repository shadowhand, nice work. The svn trunk site is no longer there for thunar though... it down permanently, do you think?
Also, when making the beagle package I get the following error:
checking for GNOME_VFS... configure: error: Package requirements (gnome-vfs-2.0 libgnome-2.0) were not met.
Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.
Alternatively you may set the GNOME_VFS_CFLAGS and GNOME_VFS_LIBS environment variables
to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for
more details.
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
==> ERROR: Build Failed. Aborting...I have gnome-vfs and libgnome installed (v2.12, both of them). How should I fix the problem?

Xfce svn repository is being moved: http://foo-projects.org/pipermail/xfce4 … 17251.html
Just wait a couple of days more to settle, and then we'll have to update our PKGBUILDs . ;-)

kk, cheers for the info stavrosg.
Anyone got any clues as to why my gnome-vfs and libgnome aren't being picked up by the beagle configure script?

Try editing the pkgbuild and adding a PKG_CONFIG_PATH variable that references where the missing libs are. Also, you can try sourcing /etc/profile.d/* before building.

Houston, there's a problem... I can't install xfce-svn group
error: libxfce4util-svn conflicts with libxfce4util
I think it comes from this PKGBUILD:
# Maintainer: Shadowhand <woody.gilk@gmail.com>
pkgname=xfwm4-themes-svn
pkgver=14367
pkgrel=1
pkgdesc="Additional themes for Xfwm"
url="http://www.xfce.org/"
groups='xfce-svn'
conflicts=('xfwm4-themes')
provides=('xfwm4-themes')
depends=('xfwm4')It must be depends=('xfwm4-svn')
There is an error in libxfce4util-svn too.
# Maintainer: Shadowhand <woody.gilk@gmail.com>
pkgname=libxfce4util-svn
pkgver=18285
pkgrel=1
pkgdesc="Basic utility non-GUI functions for Xfce"
url="http://www.xfce.org/"
groups='xfce4-svn'It must be groups='xfce-svn' like others.
I can't fix them right now, but for the mean time, install the packages that have problems manually (pacman -S) then install the whole group.
When I get back from vacation, I will fix and update (a week).

Excuse my noobiness, but how exatcly can I use xfce-svn, I added your repository to my pacman.conf, and did pacman -S xfce-svn, after removing xfce4 due to conflicts... But now how exactly do I use xfce-svn...? It's not in the list of sessions, and when I run xfwm-svn I get a gtk error...
Any input appreciated...
TIA...

The filenames are the same as in xfce from the official repo. that's why it is in conflicts.
Start it with startxfce as usual ![]()

startxfce4 I think you mean.
Yeah, all the names are the same as xfce4, so xfwm4 would be the command to start xfwm SVN.

Save this as xfce4.desktop:
[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Xfce 4 Session
Comment=Use this session to run Xfce 4 as your desktop environment
Exec=/opt/xfce4/bin/startxfce4
Icon=/opt/xfce4/share/pixmaps/xfce4_xicon.png
Type=Applicationchmod 777 it and place it in /etc/X11/sessions
That should get it to show up.

Oy Shadowhand... Are you putting Firefox 1.5 RC1 in your repo, or leaving it to the Arch package maintainers?

Oh! Looks like I'll have to update. Have you guys had any plugin issues? In b2 I couldn't get half the plugins to install, even though they were supported on the site.
Hopefully this changes in rc1.

Did you clear your profile first? When I tried to update mine, 2 or 3 updated then I got "Not a valid installation file" for everything else.
