Today I was using a friend of mine's amazon prime account to see if its worth the price. It is a decision between amazon prime and hulu plus for my video streaming needs. The problem is, however, that it seems that the amazon prime video player doesn't want to work for linux. I tried both chromium and firefox with no luck. I click on a video to watch, it says "Connecting..." with the little moving dots and then switches to the "updating" bar. Once the bar gets near or at the end (near for firefox, at for chromium) it pops up a message that updating failed likely because either my browser or flash player needed to be updated. Thinking that perhaps it didn't like the flashplayer package, I went ahead and installed chromium-pepper-flash-stable from the AUR. It then said "Please disable pepper flash and use adobe flash" or something along those lines.
Does anyone know of a workaround for this issue?
Thanks in advance.
