[Solved] apropos not working?

It's been a long time since I last used apropos, but I seem to remember getting an awful lot of output.  Now I'm not getting anything:

# apropos disk
disk: nothing appropriate.
# apropos archive
archive: nothing appropriate.
# apropos font
font: nothing appropriate.
# apropos file
file: nothing appropriate.

From the config file /etc/man_db.conf:

That did the trick, thanks.

Weird thing is, I don't remember ever running mandb before, and I thought I'd used apropos in arch at some point.  Mabye I hadn't used it since I was running ubuntu.

cron is not enabled in systemd out of the box, therefor the mandb daily cron job does not get run.
