After running KDE for some time, it will stop suspending on lid close

I can use KDE for a day or two and it will behave just fine, but inevitably, after some time, it will stop going to sleep when I close the lid or after my 15 minute timeout that I have set up in the power manager thing.

A reboot will fix it for a while. This does not happen in Xfce or Gnome. Hitting the suspend button works.

There are about 10,000 things that could affect suspending, so I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem?
