minor sound issues
I´ve got a Soundblaster Audigy EX platinum and it is working fine.
I have some trouble with certain sounds playing together at the same time. I run Xfce and play all the time music through xmms - mostly dvb-s radio -. Running at the same time realplayer works too.
But some sound files seem to get hang up in the sound pipe line and there won´t not be played, e.g. K3B finishing sound. But I can hear this sound effect when shutting the system down.
What´s wrong? It is related to arts or to this here:

Do you mean that you are using arts? If so can i suggest that you switch to alsa. I've never had anything but trouble from arts myself.

In kcontrol alsa is set for sound system. In k3b I cannot chose anything else than arts. Should there be another option?
