USB problem, 2.6.13-archck8

For all the log output, see this thread at LinuxQuestions as I asked the question there first, thought it was a hardware problem.. Now I think it's an Arch (and Archie) kernel problem because as you can see in the LQ thread, everything works great in Knoppix. With Arch now (and the weird thing is it worked fine before I plugged this hub in), even if I try plugging my iPod directly into the computer, without the hub plugged in I get the same errors. With Knoppix, I can plug stuff into the hub or the computer and it works great. Anyone have any ideas as to why this could be? Here is the Knoppix lsmod output and the Arch lsmod output. In Arch, uhci_hcd didn't get loaded by hwd, I saw it in the Knoppix list and gave it a try. No go.

If anyone has any ideas that would be great! This is driving me crazy cause I need to use my parents computer to charge my iPod  :cry:
