Hi, Everybody,
This may be a really dumb question, but I'm having trouble finding a VNC client that works to connect to a Remote OS X machine (version 10.8). I have tried with both RealVNC as well as as TinyVNC (from the Arch repositories). Has anybody ever successfully connected to an OS X machine from Arch linux using any VNC client? I've done a bit of research on Google, however haven't been able to find a good solution yet.
Thank-you,
Dan Sullivan

Apple made modifications to the protocol, breaking compatibility with standard VNC. According to this, gtk-vnc should work.

Odd... tigervnc works fine.

Would it be possible for somebody to please confirm grasky's post? When I try to use TigerVNC from the standard repo (64-bit v1.2.0), I get the error message "No matching security types".

Never mind, gtk-vnc works fine. Thank-you both graysky and Gusar for your replies.

Not sure what you're doing wrong with it... I vnc into several Macs via this without any warnings...
