During regular (-Syu --aur) updates, yaourt doesn't find new releases of nvidia-utils-beta, nvidia-beta-all, and lib32-nvidia-utils-beta. When I search for nvidia it will highlight the version of these packages in red as it recognizes mine are out of date.
Is this an expected behavior? Nothing in pacman.conf or any setting I can remember making should be hiding these packages.

stop using yaourt & use a better wrapper like pacaur, cower & meat
pacman.conf will not stop you seeing packages in aur!

Yeah, I confirmed there were updates and was able to manually install the newer versions by name. I'm going to give aura a try, hopefully it will find the updates.
Thanks for suggesting trying a new wrapper, it's something I hadn't even considered yet.
