Can't find beagle search app in AUR, is there any alternative.

I'm looking for a file indexing and search application for arch linux, i read about beagle in arch linux wiki but can't find it anywhere, could someone upload it or post a link to it. Or if there is any alternative to it with indexing capability, please suggest.

Thanks.

Beagle is a dead project, that's why you can't find it. Here is the list of some indexing software.

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Locate

There is at least one gui frontend in the aur (xfce4-limelight-plugin) but I've never used it.

EDIT: Locate does not index file contents, so it's probably not what you are looking for - sorry for the "noise".
