Well, as stated in the topic, this is my problem.
I have archlinux in my HP Pavilion dv7 with AMD Phenom II (x3 cores) N850 2.2GHz processor and it gets extremely hot when i'm in arch. I have tried linuxmint just to feel how hot it is and it less hot than in arch; in fact, in arch is like it has been in an oven even when my cpu's are in 3% each.
I got my cpu freq log in case it helps:
analyzing CPU 0:
driver: powernow-k8
CPUs which run at the same hardware frequency: 0
CPUs which need to have their frequency coordinated by software: 0
maximum transition latency: 8.0 us.
hardware limits: 800 MHz - 2.20 GHz
available frequency steps: 2.20 GHz, 1.90 GHz, 1.60 GHz, 1.30 GHz, 800 MHz
available cpufreq governors: ondemand, performance
current policy: frequency should be within 800 MHz and 2.20 GHz.
The governor "ondemand" may decide which speed to use
within this range.
current CPU frequency is 800 MHz.
boost state support:
Supported: no
Active: noI don't really know why it is getting that hot, not even when playing any game it gets like it is getting with arch. So, if anybody can help me with this, i would really appreciate it.

Can I have some more info? What graphics card do you have and which drivers are you using?

I have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series (2Gb) graphic card with xf86-video-ati open source driver. I tried to install catalyst but i couldn't, it always asks me to remove libgl but when i remove it i get an error saying the libgl 9.0.something is necessary for that driver. As far as i know, i can remove libgl without any problem because of the conflict with catalyst and that thing just pisses me off.

Force the removal of libgl with pacman -Rdd <package>.
