everything is read only after reboot?!

after installing arch and awesome it worked fine Ive done this before, however I have 4 harddrives 1 internal 3 external, I went to fstab and added the internal, did the uuid=numberwhatever, ntfs default 0 0 and it worked fine, but when I restarted I log in and try to do startx and this is what happened and I have no idea what to do.

what doesn't make sense is it worked fine without restarting and the drive let me read and write to it, also my swap is a 0 0 if that matters..i searched on the net and no one is having this issue so there are no helping leads anywhere ive seen

Re: everything is read only after reboot?!

I already have that, and it wouldn't matter at this point because like I mentioned everything is read only so I cant do anything I mean anything at all, this means installing something, I cant even edit my fstab as root, absolutely everything is read only

If you have already installed ntfs-3g, then I'm not sure why you are mounted ro.

If you have not, then you can chroot in from the live medium and fix it or you can retrieve files, like fstab, that you can paste here that will provide people with the information they need to assist you.

Re: everything is read only after reboot?!

1 moment, I changed the fstab from live cd im going to see iof this is the issue or if something really is broke, if I delete the uuid I added and it works then something else could be wrong, if not then I saw something about removing all auth* in home ill try that and report back

Re: everything is read only after reboot?!

ok so I found out it is my fstab entry, here is how I have it , this is a ntfs 2tb drive internal  http://postimage.org/image/idgd21mfb/

how I found out this was the issue is, I commented it out, rebooted started x and it let me in, so this concluded its my addition to fstab now I just don't understand what I did wrong.

Also note the possible values for <pass> - 3 isn't among them.
