Just updated Openoffice. It did not start with an i18N error. It says about not exusting locales "".
I have removed it and reinstalled openoffice-de-1.1.5-1 and the -base-1.1.5-1.pkg.
Sure someone knows what to do.

Try what i mentioned in wiki,
remove your old .openoffice dirs in your home,
do not use take old data from OO 1.1.x
remove .sversionrc in your home
remove old OpenOffice dir in your home, then it should work.
Me uses -de langpack too, so i know that it definitly works

I18N: Operating system doesn't support locale ""
I get this error when I want to setup OO.
The error message brings many google results, but I did not find a solution.

I was hoping the same error would not appear in the new version of oo. But it did. Maybe something wrong with my locales or utf8...
The message is : /opt/openoffice/program/soffice
I18N: Operating system doesn't support locale ""
and then nothing happens. Not exactly nothing.. after this I have a folder in my home directory .openoffice.org2
But no start...
Searching google this seems a common problem without a common solution,
112.000 für I18N: Operating system doesn't support locale ""
I would not like to read them all, after reading about 20 which would not help a bit...
