Hi, I used to update my system with pacman -Syuu and I didn't know if this command would update my packages installed with packer from AUR..after reading packer wiki I decided to try packer -Syu ...some packages updated ( google chrome included) and since then when I go on chrome to watch a video on youtube, there is yellow pixels flashing all over the place. (even when the video is on pause)...it wasn't doing that 5 mins before updating...I tried reinstalling chrome, no joy.
any help please
edot: is there a way to see all the packages that were updated or something...I might find the cause

pacman will never update packages from AUR
To see the list of packages that were updated
cat /var/log/pacman.log

For a list of updates and times, check /var/log/pacman.log
Edit: too slow.

I just checked in the pacman.log file but it doesn't have the packers update...I have no clue why youtube videos have all these bugged pixels poping everywhere...it started happening after packer -Syu...even if I reinstall google chrome, nothing changes..
again the yellow/white particles moves even when the video is on pause, it seems kinda laggy too...

pacman.log will have everything. packer is simply an AUR helper and the actual install is still done by pacman...
[2013-01-31 17:06] Running 'pacman -U google-chrome-24.0.1312.57-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz'
[2013-01-31 17:06] upgraded google-chrome (24.0.1312.56-1 -> 24.0.1312.57-1)
Google Chrome seems ok here. 64 bit with nvidia and nvidia driver.

yeah, I just realized that...When I did packer -Syu, only google-chrome and acroread were updated, I tried unstalling both and reinstalling and I still have pixel flying all around in my youtube video, I just installed firefox and I don't get this bug...I tried removing all google-chrome files of my system after unstalling too...
Since I don't know what is the problem..I might as well start using firefox even tho I prefer chrome
..just uninstalled firefox, can't stand it for some reason. Still need help to fix this bug..once I figure out gimp or find some kind of paint I will post a S/S

Little update : I found a post on another forum saying that google chrome has problem since version .24 with html 5 and it happened to many people...some fixed the problem removing all cookies of youtube from their chrome and some downgraded their google chrome.
Since I couldn't downgrade my google chrome, I disabled my flash plugin :something .137 and I installed : flashplugin-beta from AUR.
Now everything works fine.
