JohnnyDeacon, this is known as threadjacking, hijacking a thread for a totally different problem. Did you read the comments for Google Earth in the AUR?
Online
You're lacking 32-bit libraries, which makes me wonder how you installed it from the AUR....
Thanks for the reply! What do you mean? I run x32 libaries only! Google-earth worked fine before. Are there anymore solutions?

Did you enable [multilib] repository so that you can use lib32 packages in the x64 environment?
Besides, verify the contents of the google-earth package... You might have installed an empty package if you hadn't realized an error during building. (The error would make sense if you didn't have the multilib environment installed.) Use any way you like to search your hdd for googleearth-bin (which, locate, find...).

Hi, I run x32 environment only! I have not installed a empty package! With makepkg -s it successfully completed and after that installed with pacman -U.
locate googleearth-bin
/home/OpenEye/files/google-earth/pkg/opt/google/earth/free/googleearth-binDo you or anybody have any clues or solutions? Thanks for your time!

locate googleearth-bin /home/OpenEye/files/google-earth/pkg/opt/google/earth/free/googleearth-bin
Really? Did you want to install the package in your home directory?

After years of running google-earth on a Gentoo box with absolutely no problem, I have never gotten it run to run right under Arch. v7x, like the above poster, won't run at all. v6x starts and runs but there are big gray blocks that pop up randomly and no overlay tags (like images, street view, etc.) show up at all. I've read everything I can find in the forums and web searches and finally gave up. To hell with it, I un-installed it.
